Nice Santana 20 Sailboat, Daysailer/Racer, Trailer, Motor.  Hull No. 425, 1978.  Complete, everything’s there -
this boat is in sail-away condition (needs a little work to be race ready).
Nice day sailer/racer with good trailer and running, older Johnson 4 horse, long shaft motor.  Main with reef
points, Genoa, and colorful Spinnaker(couple small patches).  Has a matching mainsail cover and tiller cover.  Good
newer stainless standing rigging.  Aluminum mast, boom and spinnaker pole.  Stainless steel pulpits, stanchions and
life lines.  Knot and depth meter, running lights.  S20 class uses an adjustable back stay, 2 race adjustable side
stays, Genoa travelers, cunningham, outhaul, boomvang, reef line, single to dual line spinnaker pole lift, all lines led
aft to cockpit.  Two winches on cabin top.  The one design class also allows additional winches, a main sheet
traveler and an elastic cord balance on the spin pole lift that are not on this boat.
Electronics:  Depth Gage, Knot meter, Electrical Panel, Battery Switch.  Running & Interior lights.
Fiberglass & fixed Keel are in fine condition, no blisters or delamination.  Some crazing in the gel coat on deck
but not a problem.  This boat hull would look prettier with a fresh bottom job & the topsides (not deck)
repainted.  I had big plans for spiffing up her looks, but instead I bought myself a bigger, newer, trailer sailer.
Interior:  Cushions on 2 settee’s and V-berth.  Two window hatches, wine glass holder with glasses, usual Santana
interior flaking paint (common old Santana problem).
EZ Loader trailer, fully adjustable, all roller, galvanized & aluminum.  Good 15" tires, new spare, 2" ball, new
lights & wiring with flat 4 connector, new bearings, races & (new bearing buddies on order).  16’ tongue extension
for launching with support wheel in the middle.  Trailer also has a custom made ladder (the envy of the fleet).
Extras:  Fenders, docklines, flag, little wind meter, paddle, type IV cushion, horn, new owners manual.  Mast
raising strut for 1 person rigging (launching is a 2 person job with race keel).
I can help deliver in front range area, just ask :)
The Santana 20 is still in production using the original design hull mold.  The new version has an open scoop type
cockpit, but all S20’s compete in the same one design classes, see www.wdschock.com for some great info.  There
are many fleets across the country, Fleet 28 is at Cherry Creek Res   www.S20.org, www.denversailing.org
